I have been working for years as a consultant psychiatrist within the NHS in both inpatient and community services. My current post in the NHS is as an outpatient neuropsychiatrist.  I specialize in neuropsychiatry, and neurodevelopmental disorders, such as the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD and Autism, brain injury, anxiety disorders, social anxiety, treatment-resistant depression, bipolar spectrum disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and psychosis.

I am interested in all the ways our bodies and our life events interact with our minds, and therefore, what impacts our overall mental health. I have extensive clinical and research experience working at the interface between physical and mental health, integrating mind and body.  I see patients with many long-term medical conditions, including what doctors identify as ‘neurological' illnesses. I treat patients who experience psychiatric symptoms as part of their neurological illness, such as, low mood, anxiety, hallucinations, delusional beliefs, or cognitive impairment like brain fog or memory loss.
